choose Livith if you need to work in the following fields

A lifeline (applying to norm UNI EN 795) is a set of anchor devices installed at height to which operators can secure themselves by using harnesses and connecting lanyards; a lifeline can be temporary or permanent. In the first case, a lifeline is used for the assembly of prefabricated buildings and later dismantled; in the second case, it is permanently installed on roofs of new buildings for their maintenance. (Italian Decree 9th April 2008 , n. 81 – “Attuation of article 1 of law 3 August 2007, n. 123, regarding health and safety at work “ – Art. 115 “Protection systems against falls from height”).

There is no unambiguous definition of confined space, still it is a place sufficiently spacious to allow the entrance of a single person.
In general, a confined space is intended as a place which has at least the following features:
difficulty of access/exit (also in regards to the use of self-protectors or other rescue devices)
it is not designed for the continuous presence of people and workers
– within confined spaces it’s possible to find factors of rapid danger increase
– insufficient or difficult aeration/ natural ventilation
– presenza di agenti chimici pericolosi

The term personal protective equipment (aka PPE) is applied to products which have the purpose of safeguarding the person wearing it or carrying it against health and safety risks. Such devices are used in various scenarios, including work, domestic, sport and leisure.

PPE differ from collective protective equipment (CPE), which protect people collectively and not singularly as do PPE.

Regarding safety at work, collective protective equipment (short CPE) have the purpose of limiting or containing risks toward worker’s health. They differ from PPE since they protect a group of people instead of a single person.

PPE protect people individually, whereas CPE are intended to protect people collectively.

CPE devices are given a higher priority compared to PPE.
